I am so excited to offer a make you own patch workshop!

This is a great opportunity to bring in your ripped jeans/shirts that need a good old patch. Or you could even bring something that just needs to be reinforced with some beautifully unique patches.

We will be working with different quilt square techniques to create a knee patches/elbow patches/patches to cover stains.

Then we will be applying the patch.

Reinforce those clothes ready for autumn!

What's included:

  • You will make two patches in this workshop

  • Three hours of designing, making and patching your clothes

  • 1:1 time to get inspired, chat through ideas, designs and processes

  • Lots of step by step demos

  • Exploration of different patch techniques

  • Intro to using PFAFF sewing machine

  • Intimate class size with lots of space for discussion and creativity

  • All Fabric and habadashery to make your patch

  • Teas, coffee and biscuits

Group Size: 5 people

Who can attend

This workshop is for adults aged 18 and over. If you are between 16-18 , you’re welcome to join with a parent or guardian.

What if I don’t finish?

Don’t worry if you don’t finish on time, slow and steady can win the race, but if you don’t finish. You will leave with the skills and guidance to confidently finish it on your own if needed.

Accessibility

The Chipper room is on the ground floor. There is a ramp at the building entrance, there is an accesible toilet and four disabled parking spaces.

Supporter - This option is for anybody who can afford a little bit more. This payment supports the continuation of these workshops and supports others who can't pay the full price.
