My mending journey
My passion for mending started when I was eight years old, learning to darn socks with my very special Gran Susie.
I come from a working-class background, where the craft of making do and mending was passed down through generations. There’s something truly magical about slowing down, calming the nervous system, and taking the time to repair and re-love worn items.
It’s a beautiful, grounding process. It’s something that’s worth doing - for the planet, and for our well-being.
