Mini Quilt Workshop
Have you been wanting to learn how to sew a quilt?
This workshop is perfect for you if you don’t have a sewing machine and would love to learn beautiful hand-sewing skills in a relaxed, supportive space.
No machines. No rush. Just you, fabrics, slow sewing and colourful threads.
Together, we’ll explore colour and shape as you design and create your own unique miniature quilt.
You’ll slowly hand stitch your quilt top, layer your quilt, hand sew the layeres together by quilting and finish it with binding, learning each step in a mindful, accessible way.
This is a gentle, slowed-down approach to making.
A chance to rest into the rhythm of hand stitching, to savour the process, and to welcome a one-of-a-kind outcome shaped entirely by you.
Come and experience the joy of creating something small, soulful and completely your own.
A Nourishing, Hands-On Creative Experience
You will learn:
All of the elements to make a mini quilt
We will explore colour combinations and have lots of books for inspiration
How to prep your fabrics and have step by step demos of each part of the process
How to slow down and enjoy the art of hand sewing!
This workshop includes:
5.5 hours of creating colour combinations, designing and making your mini quilts
1:1 time to get inspired, chat through ideas, designs and processes
Intimate class size with lots of space for discussion and creativity
All fabric and haberdashery to make your mini quilts
